Is the database format such that a person could manually edit the files to merge two databases?
I have a huge file from one person and I want to merge with my own database without having to import each and every tune all over again and setting up all the information on genres, keys, collections etc etc.
I am no stranger to hacking together files and databases, so if there is a way to edit some sort of structure or index file, that would be great to know.

Thanks

Glen
If you are really skilled with SQL, you could find a way to merge the two databases. It's not going to be easy though - there are a lot of tables that you would have to create entries under and link together. How comfortable are you with SQL?

On a side note, I'm wondering how useful it would be to users to have a "Merge Backup File" feature instead of just a restore library backup feature. It would be incredibly complex to implement in comparison to the regular restore, but I can look into doing it at some point if it would be useful to a large number of users.

The closest I get to SQL would be that I use Access quite a bit, so I guess I could possibly create queries that ultimately link the databases together. Can you tell me where to find the actual databases?
Also, yes, a merge backup file would be good. I work with a lot of different musicians, and we share music, so no one person has the exact database that another person has, so merging would sort of solve the problem.

Thanks

Glen
Just a word of caution, I think 'database' and 'library' are not the same in thing in MobileSheets.
With the ability to send songs now with MSPro, is this needed in the new version? I sent multiple songs to myself from one tablet to another and it worked great.
