hi there - i have the paid version of mobilesheets.  i am not in performance mode.

i've loaded all of my pdf's and created a couple of setlists.  

however, i need to write some things onto the sheets, and i can't find the annotation pencil icon.  i looked in the manual, but i don't "see"/cannot activate the annotation menu.

sorry - i'm so new at this.

quick reply would be great - have a gig in about 8 hours.  

Try a vertical swipe the the pen icon, lower right.

If you can't tap the center of the screen to bring up the overlay, and you are absolutely sure you aren't in performance mode (the sheet music stand at the top left corner of the library is not orange), then perhaps you changed the action to bring up the overlay. Check in the settings for the overlay action to see if you set it to something other than tap (long press or vertical swipe are the other two options).

absolutely right on - it came up!  thank you!

i'll be using the annotation as i convert more files to my inventory.

i'm a brand new user to my galaxy tab 4 - mobilesheets is my very first app that i've used, and i was so surprised how intuitive it works.  i only downloaded my lead sheets a few days ago, and literally went straight to the gig right out of the gate with mobilesheets' set lists.
