I have been batch importing individual albums, re-naming them in albums and that is fine.  However I batch imported three books yesterday without renaming them, I thought I'd do that later, and they have all ended up under one album called Unknown.  Can I split them or do I have to delete them and import them again, renaming after each import.

You would need to either delete all the songs and re-add them, or edit each one individually. I'm going to add a batch edit feature in MobileSheetsPro sometime soon to address this.
