Mike,

The recently introduced option to automatically show notes when a song is loaded, causes the Navigation bar to reappear (in case the option to hide the navigation bar was checked).
After the notes dissappear from the screen, the Navigation bar stays visible, requiring an additional tick on the song screen to hide it again.
