Hi Mike,

I have recently upgraded MSP to 1.6.9 and companion to 2.5.1
Since then I have not been able to auto active a sync. I van manually do it by entering the identical IP address that tablet running MSP is using.

Is there something new, such as a new setting that I need to set or is there something else I need to try?

I didn't change anything in 1.6.9 that deals with the connection to the companion app. Try getting your router to assign a new IP address to the tablet. That may fix the problem.

As you know, I have had this same probem for some time now.  Your suggestion to change the IP sounds interesting - but how 
is this done?
