With this new update, when I try to annotate, it keep disconnecting the virtual keyboard (requiring me to go out of the program to reconnect it).
This did not happen before the update.

I didn't make any changes to the way text annotations are handled or the interactions with the virtual keyboard. I really can't explain why that's happening. Just to verify: if I hook up a pedal to my tablet and then enable the virtual keyboard, then I annotate a score, the virtual keyboard should no longer work?

Well I just tested that, and my virtual keyboard continues working with a pedal connected while I'm making annotations. You didn't change anything else on your tablet by chance, did you?
