When trying to import a file from Google Drive, I get a dialog asking "Allow MobileSheetsPro to access your contacts".

That is because in order for me to use the Google Drive API, which requires login capabilities, it requires that I have that permission. It doesn't actually use any information about contacts (that is misleading). It seems to just need that permission for accessing accounts on the device. Other developers/users are confused by it too. If you dig a little deeper, this explains it: "This is because the GET_ACCOUNTS permission is a member of the CONTACTS group". I have no idea why Google set it up that way.
