With less than 24 hours before my next gig I found out that I could no longer charge my BT-106 since the connector on the inside was broken.

Now I'm quite sure I have treatened the device well, only charged it when comfortably on the table, never on the ground, never using force to insert the usb cable.
Shit can (and does) happen, but a collegue of mine had the same problem a couple of months ago. Fortunately (for him) his device was still under warranty.
So this seems to be a potential weak point of the BT-106.

Anyone else had broken BT-106's?
In any case, consider this a warning to be careful when inserting the usb cable.
On the fair side: I contacted the vendor and they imedeately considered it a factory defect. It will be replaced by a new one even though it is over two years old.

I saw this as a reported issue when I was looking at reviews before buying the pedal. I'm being very careful with it right now, but a suggested solution was one of those magnetic breakaway cables for charging and just leaving the little piece in the BT106 at all times. I'll probably get one of those at some point. I'm also waiting on one of the new page turners from Coda (the Stomp) that is built like a normal guitar pedal. I feel like it's just a matter of time before I kill the Airturn, so I wanted something more rugged.
