That issue is fixed in the next beta version I'm releasing. I was made aware of the issues by Sciurius' descriptions in the other thread. At least when I tested with everything under the storage location, the subdirectories were all properly recreated.

Do I have to create a new backup or can I use an old one with the fix?
The old one with the fix should work. It will be great for you to test out those changes.

Please test out the latest beta when you get a chance both for the backup restore changes, as well as the relative file path changes.
