Often I need to correct a wrong note from the original score.  To do this now I need to:

select a wide pen,
set its color to white,
zoom in on the wrong note
white out the old note,
save my changes
exit the annotator
re-open the annotator,
change the pen to a narrow black pen
zoom in on the note
write in the new note

A white-out tool would sure make this process easier.

If the note you are writing can be entered as text, you can just set the text background to white

That's interesting, I'll try it.... that would also work for some kinds of markings I guess.

I'd still suggest a whiteout tool when you do the new annotation stuff....
