It would be nice, if I could "directly" draw on the music with a stylus - without the need to tap through several menus.
The shortest way should be "get the pen (prepare for writing), write on the screen, lay the pen aside (save annotations)".

That is what I am working on with the annotations redesign which I was originally hoping to finish by the end of the year, but I may not make that date as a number of hurdles have been encountered that have delayed development.
