I'm using MobileSheets with an Onyx Boox Max 3. It's a great combination. I've got the page turn timing via Bluetooth pretty good now. The one thing I miss from physical sheet music is being able to see what is on the next page as you are finishing the previous page. 

A feature I would like to see is a small, moveable, preview window. It would only need to be big enough to show a bar or two of the next page. I would only appear if there was a page following. You could set what to display in the file page where you set the rotation and crop. Maybe you could also select whether you wanted to add one to a file or not.

Have you experimented with the half page display mode yet? Once I make the half page turn position adjustable, that could be used to achieve what you have described. Additionally, if you use the vertical scrolling display mode, you could scroll small amounts at a time (like 20% of the page with instantaneous scrolling to avoid animations on e-ink). I imagine that would achieve the same goal.
