Full Version: Companion hangs on connection

I have the latest versions on my tablet (4.1.0) and PC (1.5.0).

The "connection Requests" popup comes up as normal but when I choose connect, it hangs with full green bar on

"Connecting to "

On the tablet side it says:

Connection from accepted, sending acknowledgement.
Connection from accepted, sending acknowledgement.
Ending connection, and freeing resources.



I have tried turning off and on wifi and disabling all firewalls and antivirus and opening router ports without success.


I am using the "default" connection settings. Oddly enough, if I change to another setting, mobilesheets companion crashes after I click enter. Using manual connect with poarts 16568 and 16569 also hangs full bar. Other ports give error connecting msgs.
UPDATE:

I just installed the companion on another computer on the network and it worked so it must have to do with that computer's ip or settings..if I figure out what it is will update again.
I'm adding USB support in an update today, so that might be an option to avoid the connection issues.
