got this one and it is really good.
still satisfied after 10 mo of using it
Good to hear, however there are now even better choices:
HP Chromebook x2 11 (with 3:2 ratio) or 12.4-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ or Galaxy Tab S7 FE (both 16:10 ratio).
There's also upcoming large new Samsung 14.6-inch Tab S8 Ultra tablet.
I'm fairly satisfied with my Galaxy Tab S7 FE but I find its display slightly less powerful than Gataxy Tab S4 (10.5"). Also, it has a slightly poorer viewing angle. It may not be a big deal but I couldn't help noticing when switching between the two tabs.
Try a search on capacitive stylus. I've been looking at them but haven't tried one yet. I think I will try to find one in a store so I can try it out on my tablet.

In the past I have bought cheap tablets that have proved unreliable so I am a little cautious about wasting money again.
I have found a solution to not use iPads. I have looked at legacy touchscreen laptops. 3:2 or 4:3 aspect display is needed. The only cost effective machines are Chromebooks now. The Acer 13.5 713 spin has the right aspect and at $400 on eBay cost effective. The keyboard flips around and you use it like a tablet or not. 64gig is plenty for what we are doing and you don't have to spend a thousand bucks on an iPad. I have Mobilesheets on PC, android and Chrome. All work great and with a foot pedal. My other machine is a Lenovo X61. it's 4:3 aspect also works for music. Not sure which is best but both work. Maybe I should do a side by side. The X61 cost $150 used on eBay. It's new price was over a thousand dollars 12 years ago. It is running windows 10. It is also cost effective to use larger flip type machines but the 16:9 waste a lot of space on the bottom of the display. You have to get into 14" or larger machines ...14" is the first display I bought for my wife and she thinks it's too small. The X61 has a built in stylus. Many different stylus are available for Chromebooks but the cheap ones don't provide pointed stylus. Anybody found a solution to the blunt stylus? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwrphKdrUrs

Asus Zenbook 17 Fold tablet with 17.3” (4:3 ratio) foldable OLED screen that folds down to 12.5” size is coming in the middle of 2022.
Unfortunately Windows only.
Ich nutze seit ein paar Tagen jetzt auch das S8 Ultra Tab.
Es ist perfekt, fast DIN A4 Größe und mit matter Folie super blendfrei und SPen funktioniert auch top.
The screen is only 1280x800, but that probably is sufficient for viewing scores. I just wanted to throw this out there in case it would be helpful to any users, as there aren't many affordable 13"+ Android devices. I haven't tested this device myself, so I can't speak to its quality.

That's good to know. Has anyone used this one?

Our band has used a Dell 23" all in one with Windows mounted to a drum stand, two 11" Acer android tablets, 2=two unknown brand (but very cheap $100) 13.3 android tablets (from ebay) they work but are a little finicky, and now just got a Lenovo Chromebook Duet 5 - 13.3" that can run android apps. Loaded MSpro and it works perfectly. Only cost $379, comes with a charger, removable keyboard and back cover with kick stand. Runs about 14 hours on one charge. Very impressed with this one.
Any knowledge or thoughts/views on this laptop with respect to potential use for Mobilesheets pro...
Any potential concerns for running Mobilesheets on it?
