I'm lost right at the start! When I edit a song, the only thing that comes close to what is in the manual for Smart button is Midi Commands.
How do I find the Smart Button page with the "+"

Edit>Finger on square icon [4th from the right at bottom of screen].

You don't want to edit the song. Load the song normally, tap the center of the screen to bring up the song overlay, tap the icon at the bottom right that looks like a finger tapping a rectangle, and then you can tap the + icon to create a new smart button.

OOPS, sorry about that, going to the overlay IS the way I edit a song, NOT the long press on the song then edit. It's still 2 button presses and I can do annotations also, if needed.
