I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature request, but here goes.
MSPro doesn't seem to remember the border thickness for text annotations. It remembers everything else (I think), but it doesn't remember the thickness of the border. It always defaults to 1.
It would be nice if it did remember

That seems to work now, thanks.
One more minor thing though. If you click on an existing text annotation with a border, the border width setting doesn't change to reflect what was set. Things like colour do seem to change.

It looks like the little slider is changing, but not the text or actual value used. I'll get this fixed - thanks!
