I'd like to suggest a song-specific setting to start a song in a specific view.

I'm liking this especially for cropped/cut multipage songs (e.g. where you have the 1st part of the song at the bottom of a page and the rest on the top of the next), so they can be opened directly in vertical scroll mode where they are shown as one neatly-pasted-together page).

One of my plans is to allow the display mode to be set per song if desired (a default can be set and used for all though to match the current behavior). Would this meet your needs? You could just set that song to use the vertical scrolling display mode.
