The backup function in settings works great, but I need a way to have an automated backup. I have moved my storage location to my D: drive. I'm using Acronis as backup software. Is it sufficient for me to have Acronis backup the storage location on my D: drive and the contents of the folder in appdata/local/packages? On my system, that folder is appdata/local/packages/41730Zubersoft.MobileSheets_ys1c8ct2g6ypr/

In other words, if I restore those two folders, will it do the same thing as restoring a backup using the function in settings?

Yes, that should be all you need to do. Those two locations will contain everything the app needs.
