Silently quitting
#1
Hello,
A couple of times recently, Mobilesheets has silently quit during rehearsal on Sunday mornings.  Trying to restart, it briefly comes up, then immediately quits again.  I have to reboot the device, then it works fine.  Crash reports are enabled; is there a way I can view them to see what happened?  The device is a Pixel Slate Chromebook.  The currently installed version of Mobilesheets is 3.8.43.  It would not surprise me if a Google update was causing this, but why would Mobilesheets not start again until a reboot?

Thanks,
Severs

This has seem to come up quite a bit for chromebook users:

I'm going to have to find a way to reproduce this in order to figure out what is going on. The fact that the issue only occurs on Chromebooks means the OS is definitely involved here, but I don't know what it's doing that would cause MobileSheets to suddenly close like that and not be able to come back up. It doesn't seem like a crash - if it was a crash, you'd be able to restart the app immediately. So it's almost like the app is frozen in some kind of state and the OS can't bring it to the foreground.

Ok, it hasn't happened again yet.  If it does, I'll be sure to take the time to extract the logs immediately.  I tried this a week after it happened last, but didn't see anything relevant.

Happened again this morning after a ChromeOS update.  On a hunch, I tried to start another Android app (Planning Center Online), and it exhibited the same behavior.  So this is probably an issue with ChromeOS's Android implementation after an update, and not an issue with Mobilesheets at all.

That seems likely, otherwise it would be a lot easier to reproduce. It's certainly frustrating though, as I can't do anything to prevent it...
