Currently using the "hide the navigation bar" option.
Once I get the navigation bar to appear with the swipe, is there a way to make it go away (other than going back to the library screen and coming back into the song)?
I know it sounds sort of silly, but I sometimes swipe by mistake and then I am stuck with the navigation bar hiding the bottom part of my music...
(I am running MobileSheets version 3.8.43 e-ink version, with the "hide the navigation bar" option selected. Tablet is an Onyx Boox Lumi 2 e-ink tablet, with firmware build number 2024-06-28_15-27_3.5.3_644c8c016e)
Thanks for your help!

You should be able to just tap on the center of the screen which will dismiss the bar (at least that's how it works on a normal Android device). If that doesn't work, try swiping the bar down off the screen. If that also doesn't seem to work, let me know and I'll run some tests on my Lumi.

Thank you for your fast and clear answer
Tapping in the middle of the screen alternates between being able to edit the song and going back to the display (but always with the navigation bar showing at the bottom.
And swiping the bar down off the screen has no effect. :/

Do you have Settings->Display Settings->Fullscreen Mode enabled? I have that enabled, as well as "Hide the Navigation Bar", and if I swipe up to display the taskbar, I can then either swipe up again to hide it, or even just tap in the center of the screen. This is on my BOOX Max Lumi which should, in theory, match your Lumi 2. If you go to your main tablet Settings->Gestures, do you have "Bottom" set to "Navigation Bar"? I can't imagine why we would be seeing such different behavior.
Thanks,
Mike

I did not have Fullscreen Mode enabled, as I liked to see the clock via the Android notification bar (I was previously using the clock display within Mobilesheets, but it sometimes ends up hiding bits and pieces of my music).
I have now enabled Fullscreen Mode, and get the behavior you are describing. I guess I'll put the Mobilesheets clock back on my screen display.
Thank you so much for your help !

You can change the opacity of the clock to stop it from covering music

Hum, I now have a new issue. Since the latest firmware update, if I enable the Fullscreen Mode, on the Library screen, I am now missing the top line of MobileSheets, i.e. where you have sort order, new, edit, import, settings, etc.

I'll check out the latest firmware to see if I can reproduce that issue.

I just stumbled on something (I can't even say how I got there) where I ended up configuring the Android notification bar to appear on top and eventually hide, which solves my problem.
I just wish I knew how I got to set it, lol. Definitely a tablet parameter (and not a Mobilesheet parameter).

I appear to have the latest firmware update, and I definitely don't see that... I'm glad you found a workaround though!

For the record, I have found 2 things.
The workaround I stumbled on is using a feature to record the screen. When I maximize the feature, I can either "start" it or "stop" it. If I stop it, the Android navigation bar can now hide as requested. The sad part is that I have to do this everytime I turn the tablet on.
The second thing is an application parameter that I can set for Mobilesheets (but not within Mobilesheets, but rather on the all apps panel). The setting is to allow the application to be on top of all other applications. Once I set it, the Android navigation bar gets overridden by the Mobilesheets display.
Once again, thanks for your much appreciated help!
