Found the problem: My suggestion is Import Bug Update/Documentation Update Needed.
Steps to reproduce
Set the Mobile Sheets storage to some directory (not sure if relevant but that is what I have)
Create Library Books and Set Active (Nothing in Library
Import | CSV File | Standard File Picker | Select CSV(s) and PDF(s)
In Select Songs to Import | [Select All] | OK
All songs import ok
Replacing Files
Select All "A" section files and Delete | Confirm Delete | Tick Delete Song PDF/Image/Text Files
OOPS - NOW HAVE TO REPLACE "A" FILES
Import | CSV File | Standard File Picker | Select CSV(s) and PDF(s)
In Select Songs to Import | [Select All] | OK
ALL OK but now I have Duplicates <=== Need an option to Skip/Overwite to avoid the duplicates
(Please add to non-priority list)
DELETE THE LIBRARY AND START AGAIN
Settings | Switch Library | Bin
NB Already Ticked is Delete Song PDF/Image/Text Files
Note - It says: Files shared by multiple songs will not be deleted (Ok no issue at this point)
Create Library Books2 and Set Active (Nothing in Library)
Import | CSV File | Standard File Picker | Select CSV(s) and PDF(s)
File "100 Best Movie Songs Already exists"
Select "Use Original FIle" and "Overwrite" and "Apply selection to all conflicts" (Actually it doesn't matter what you select the result is the same)
Nothing is imported <==
Workaround
Delete the original PDF files from the storage directory
Repeat the import
All works <===
So if the file exists in the storage - it will import nothing into the library.
If you delete the old library, and create a new library it will still not import.
Acknowledge that it says in the windows manual pg6 "Note: You cannot update existing songs by reimporting" However, they do not exist in the library.
Afterthought - It appears you could not have the same book in 2 libraries - they would need different names. Not really an issue
