Hi 
I am think about switching from android to iOS . Do I have to purchase an the iOS license separately or can I switch the license from android to iOS ( and maybe back lateron ) .

One licence is for one OS. If you pay for the iOS licence then you can switch back and forth as often as you like!

As Lester described, you do have to purchase the Android and iOS versions separately, as they are sold through different app stores (Google Play vs the Apple App Store).
