Paid windows version says trial period expired
#1
I purchased Mobile Sheets Windows years ago for practice in my studio. I purchased it from the Microsoft store. I actually never used it much since I am a long term Android tablet user on live gigs. I am picking out a new tablet or laptop primarily to get a larger screen. My concern is using the Windows version live.

Yesterday I booted up Mobile Sheets on my pc with a message that my trial period had expired? Nonetheless Mobile Sheets seemed  to play my hundreds of songs fine.

Questions:
1. Can I get rid of this message?
2. Do I need to purchase another license to run Mobile Sheets on a new tablet?
3. Mobile Sheets has been an incredible app for playing my tracks live on Androids. Is it as good using a Windows laptop?
4. I am considering a new Galaxy S9 Tablet 12.3 screen vs window Lenova Yoga Laptop 16 inch. If I go with Yoga will I be able to display 2 pages simultaneously?
Will Android also display 2 pages?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Was this with the Microsoft Store version or the FastSpring version? There is a 14-day trial with the Microsoft Store, but if you purchased the app, then you should definitely never see any message about a trial ending. If the app seems to be running fine, then no, you should not have to purchase another license. However, if you are using the FastSpring version of MobileSheets, one license key must be purchased per device.

As far as Android vs Windows, the app generally runs better on Android devices. This is partly due to the Android OS being more stable in many ways, and partly due to the Android framework being better than the UWP framework that the Windows version is written in. I'm going to be changing the Windows framework next year though if all goes as planned.

While you could certainly try to display two pages with a 16 inch display, those pages are going to be fairly small. You really would only want to use two pages side by side with at least a 20 inch or larger display, unless you are going to be very close to the display. Or you can use two tablets side-by-side with the "Connect Tablets" feature.

The Android version will display two pages - that works on every platform.

Thanks for the timely response. As an early user (and beta tester) it is great to see your excellent service continue over many years.

I have never heard of fast spring and am pretty sure that I purchased direct from Microsoft. I have never had a reason  to install on another windows device. I assume I can update through Microsoft?
