If I try to add a blank page to a file, the program crashes. Also if I manage to add the blank page despite the crashes, the resulting file will hang on trying to display the blank page and crash.
This way it is really unusable.

Sounds like a compatibility issue with that particular PDF. If it's rebuilt using Adobe Acrobat, or a similar program, you probably won't have any issues at all. Send the file to mike@zubersoft.com and I'll show you what I mean.

If you go to Settings->Display Settings->Render Preference and switch from "Quality" to "Speed", this can help avoid crashes with the inserted blank pages, as this switches which PDF library is used. I'll have to investigate why there seems to be an issue of compatibility in this regard between the two libraries.

It took a lot of work, but I've updated a lot of code related to that PDF library and I'm no longer seeing crashes when loading PDFs that I've inserted blank pages in. So I believe this problem will be resolved with the next update.
Thanks,
Mike
