Sync > "Select song to use" message
#1
I often get this message when syncing (Server > Update client mode) my Windows collection with my Android devices:

To be honest I don't have a clue what this message actually means: in this case, for example, there's only one song called "For me and my Gal" on Windows and Android, so the message makes no sense to me. Situation is similar in other cases, for example, usually, after getting that annoying message and finishing the sync, if I sync again right away I get the same message about the same, or another song (or songs).

It happensnearly everytime I sync my devices, with different songs, so it's a little bit annoying, since I sync veruçy often and have thousands of songs on my collection. I've tried to delete my collection on my target (Android) device to do a fresh sync, but the issue persists.

Is this a bug or expected behaviour? Any hint to understand / solve the issue?

That means you have multiple songs with the same title and files and MobileSheets can't distinguish between them to figure out how to match up the songs. I know you are saying there is only one song, but that can't be the case. There are most certainly two songs in your library with that same name. Please go to the Songs tab, scroll down and see if you can locate both copies. If you can't, then I may need to work with you to look in the database file itself, because MobileSheets is seeing multiple copies of that song. It can also occur if your two devices each have a different copy of the song and you've assigned different song IDs to them. MobileSheets will match on song ID first, so if you've been assigning song IDs without realizing that, that can cause major issues with the synchronization feature.

Yes, my point is that there weren't two songs in my library with the same name (I'm 100% sure about that), that's why I was confused.

I'm still not sure how, but the problem just got suddendly fixed. I'll keep an eye and will let you know, thanks for your reply.
