mobilesheets on 2 tabs
#1
Hi, I am new on this forum, happy user of mobile sheets. Smile
But here is my issue. I connect  via bluetooth 2 different android devices with same library and setlist but I need one with audio files (played through the pa) and the second without the audio files (I use it to change my keyboard presets via midi).
What I want is to work on one device, input of songs, pdf, audio, midi, and then download everything on the second device, but with "no audio".
Is it possible ?

When you create a library backup file under Settings->Backup and Restore->Backup Library, you can uncheck the option to include audio files. If you do this, then when you restore that backup file on the second device, no audio files will be present in the library. So this would let you accomplish what you are asking for.

When I save to backup on the main device (where the audio files are) I do uncheck this option, but when I restore on the second device, from scratch to be sure that it doesn't show previous files, it still shows me the audio logo (a surrounded note) and when I select a song I get the message of "loading failure", as if it look for the audio file and cannot find it.

It's set up that way for users that already have the audio files present on both devices and don't want to create very large backups for no reason. Unfortunately, stripping the audio files from the library would require executing SQL queries on the database itself (if you want to do it in a few steps). I can walk you through that if you want to proceed with that.

Another thing you can do is, on the second device, go to Settings->Other Settings and set "Disable Audio Player" to "Always". Then you won't see any errors as the audio player won't even be used.
