Hi,
First of all: great piece of software! I just began using it as a conductor for a wind band and it works great!
Now my question (or maybe request...): Would it be possible to have smart buttons with a specific metronome tempo assigned to them? We often have pieces with different tempos and I'd like to have the possibility to touch a button when I come to a page with a tempo change, so that I have immediately the correct metronome!
I know I can already start/stop the metronome by smart buttons, but just with the previous tempo set, which is often not the tempo I need on a specific page.
Thanks for considering this!

Yes, I can certainly support that. That shouldn't really be any more difficult than the most recent action to load an audio track at a specific starting point. I just can't state exactly which update I will slip this into.
Thanks,
Mike

That would be great, thank you very much!

Hello Mike, Hello alti4,
I am actually just considering the same question/request: For any kind of score that consists of multiple songs it would be a necessary feature for the metronome to be able to change the tempo with a SmartButton (or to assign different tempos for every page).
Has such a feature been implemented in the meantime?
If not, I would like to join alti4 in this request.
@Mike: Thanks for your great work, I really like the changes that were made to the editor recently!

I would like to join in on this issue/request: For any score that contains multiple songs or movements it would be necessary to be able to change the metronome tempo with a SmartButton or on a per page basis. Has this feature been implemented yet? It would be a huge help for me!

It has not been implemented yet - the annotations rework was my focus most of last year and I'm going to be releasing another update to fix things related to that. Once the iOS version is complete, I can focus on enhancements like what you are asking for.

Hello Mike,
I have been looking for this feature as well. Did you already have the chance to implement this feature or is it still on your ToDo list?
I'm using MobileSheets on several devices (Android, IOS & Windows) for my brass band and love it. I already managed to convice some of my mates to switch from paper sheets to MobileSheets :-)
Best regards,
Thomas

Still on the TODO list I'm afraid. I think more and more users are requesting it though, so I'll do what I can to address it in one of the next big updates.

Rather than start a new topic, I thought I'd add to this existing one on metronome refinements...
Global Metronome Disable: I routinely use 2 tablets (Windows or iOS, but Android is a possibility, too) in book mode. I also routinely auto-start the metronome for most songs while performing. I'd like to be able to turn off the metronome on my second tablet to avoid the visual distraction of two metronome indicators blinking out of phase (unless you can get both devices to blink synchronously). I know that I can manually modify metronome configuration (i.e., auto-start setting) on each song, and that I can even do this en masse (apply to all in setlist), but since I maintain synchronized content databases on both devices, I don't want to have to change song-level metronome settings if possible. I do generally avoid synchronizing app settings between devices, so an app-level setting to globally (vs. per song) disable the metronome on one device would work for me. A further refinement would be to automatically display a metronome on only one device when in book mode, particularly when separate songs mode is enabled.
Settings Search: While I'm at it, it would be helpful to have a settings search function (like on iOS, Windows, or Android system settings apps). I had to wade through several pages of settings to ensure that I wasn't asking for something that already existed.
THANKS MIKE!

Have you tried putting all the songs into a temporary setlist on the second tablet (Long press one song on Songs tab, select all in floating checkboxes, three vertical dots, Create Set list from songs).
Then open the setlist, display a song and and turn off metronome and "apply to all songs in setlist".
A bit convoluted but it should mean you don't have to do each file individually.

I'm fine with adding a global setting to disable the metronome like I have for the audio player. The book mode suggestion also makes sense.
I definitely plan to add a search option for the settings screen - it's on the very large list of things to do.

@Geoff
Thanks for the suggestion. I am aware that I can disable the metronome via "apply to all songs in setlist", but as you mention, it involves more steps than it ought to for something that I do frequently. I'd have to do it each time I re-sync my second tablet to my master database - which is practically every time I play a gig (new songs, annotations, and setlists).
That said, I had thus far overlooked the function to create a set list from multiple songs - this will come in handy!

Thanks Mike! Looking forward to the these new features.
