Hello,
I come to you because I need emergency help because I have a show tomorrow.
when I plug my pedal into my iPad 13, it does not turn the pages of my scores. It’s used more like a mouse.
When I press the pedal, in the MobileSheets app, it gives me a blue frame all around the screen, but when I go to the tablet menu, it moves the cursor up and down or right on the left as (I have pictures, but I don’t know how insert ther in my message

I don’t have url)
Somebody knows why?
Thank you For your help

I will need to know what type of pedal you are using. Please provide information about the pedal and I will do my best to help.

That pedal should definitely work, so there are a few things to check:
1) I'm assuming you have already paired the pedal in the bluetooth settings on the tablet, but this is necessary
2) You need to go to the tablet settings->Accessibility->Keyboards and switch "Full Keyboard Access" off, as this is known to cause problems
Let me know if the setting mentioned above was turned on or not.

You will also need to go through these instructions to ensure the pedal is configured properly:
1) Load MobileSheets, tap the three dots at the top right and then Settings.
2) Tap Touch & Pedal Settings and then Pedal Actions
3) Tap the "Keys" field for Pedal 1.
4) Tap the "Clear" button on the dialog.
5) Press a pedal switch. If a key shows up, the pedal is communicating properly with your device.
6) If a key shows up, tap OK, then select the action you want that pedal to trigger from the dropdown below the keys field. Repeat these steps for pedal 2.

Looks like this pedal also has several modes, all of which send different keys. Make sure the mode you choose aligns with the keys you set up in MS.

All of the information you need is listed above. Pair the pedal with the device and follow the instructions I provided for mapping keys to actions.

Thank you! The pedal(in my case a smart ring with buttons) is paired correctly and is recognized by MS. The problem is that it behaves like a keyboard (it moves up and down instead of the choosen turning page). So I think the solution could be like for the Ipad
to go to the tablet settings->Accessibility->Keyboards and switch "Full Keyboard Access" off, but I cannot find the corrispondent setting input on Android.

There is no setting like that on Android that you need to worry about. A smart ring with buttons also does not behave like a normal bluetooth pedal. It does not send key commands like "page up" or "page down". Some of them can send a "Volume up" or "Volume down", which will work with MobileSheets, but none of the other buttons on the ring will likely work. So you have to have an accessory that can send key commands like a computer keyboard, like Flic buttons.
