rotated sheets distort
#1
I feel like this is a dumb question and I should know the answer.   but I've just scanned a lot of music that is 8.5x11 landscape.

I don't have the Adobe Pro to rotate it before importing, though I guess I could find some third party software to do that.

If I import it and rotate it inside MobileSheets, it distorts.  Noteheads turn into diamonds instead of circles, etc.  Basically it becomes unreadable.

If I rotate the tablet,  then I have to figure how to lock the screen autorotate function quickly?

Thanks, and sorry if this has been answered.  I did search first but didn't find it.

Rotating a page definitely should not be causing any display issues like that. What page scaling mode are you currently using? I want to verify you are using the "Fit Screen" page scaling. You can also try going to Settings->Display Settings->Render Preference and switch it from "Quality" to "Speed" or vice versa to see if one of the PDF libraries works better for you than the other.

For the last couple of years, I've had a few pieces that were like that, almost looked like old midieval music rotated.  And I had to quickly rotate the tablet to see a readable screen.  Most of my music is scanned without needing rotation, so it wasn't a huge problem, but always stressful on a gig with one of the outliers.

No, I wasn't using fit screen, it was set to full screen.  Fit screen makes the problem go away like magic.  Many thanks!  Guess I was right about feeling dumb.  <smiley>
