I admit that this is a slightly extreme case, but nevertheless it could indicate some weak points in the formatting algorithms.

I can't seem to reproduce this with my latest changes, so I think it may be fixed. If you can check it after 1.8.1 is released, I would really appreciate it.

I can confirm this is much better in 1.8.1+
