"Text" Stamps

I am using MSP for Piano. To annotate my sheet music (PDF) I mostly use stamps to write down the fingering, which uses the numbers 1..5

However, I noticed when using stamps and I export the Annotations back to PDF they get stored as bitmaps and the file size is also enlarged considerably.
Using the text tool to write down the fingering is very cumbersome, so I prefer stamps.

My question: Would it be possible to add "Text Stamps" to the stamp functionality, which would share the GUI infrastructure with the stamp tool but instead of bitmaps insert real PDF text elements? This could probaply also be useful for other Instruments as well, for instance for Guitar cords.

Best Regards,
Hello Bernhard,

I used to write out stamps as text into PDFs, but this involves having to embed the music font in the PDF, and this would very often cause corruption in the PDF library I'm using along with crashes. This was not something I was able to resolve, so I had to switch to storing them as bitmaps. I did not want to introduce that kind of instability in the app where sometimes it would crash or not work if you tried to export your songs, and I was not able to easily resolve this with the company that makes the PDF library. I may revisit this at some point.

I use stamps for fingerings and I never had any problem when exporting as pdf.  They export fine and translate also as annotations in the pdf.
Not sure what you do different?
