Hello Pietia,

As far as the first request, are you just looking for a way to edit just audio or MIDI? Would it be sufficient to load the song editor with those tabs selected?

I will look into the second issue to see what I can do.  If I'm unable to make it blank, then I will put the cursor at the very end at least.

Concerning the first question I was thinking about adding shortcuts (see attachment)

   

A little word about second matter:
Tabs could be configurable (order tab) - for me MIDI tab is the most important.
Below you will find demanded (default) window look after clicking at "green plus" - which would be nice addition and let us improve our performance during typical work with MSC pro
