Hi Mike,
Just to let you know that I can't upgrade the companion from it's dialog screen when it says that an update is available - it fails and asks if an antivirus program is running.
I'm still on XP (I know) and use the free AVG checker.
Security on XP is minimal (unlike later versions of windows) and I wouldn't have thought that AVG was responsible (but I suppose it could be).
This is more for your information rather requiring a fix as, like before, I can install the updated program from http://www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/companion.html.
Next time the companion changes, I'll try to remember to turn off AVG to see it that works.
