I'm sorry to hear you are having connection problems now. Nothing changed in the update related to the way the software connects to the tablet software, so the problem (whatever it is), is not related to that. Did you try all of the suggestions listed in that dialog? Did you reboot your router? Have you rebooted your PC? Have you tried running the companion app with admin privileges? You said the firewall is turned off - does that mean your anti-virus firewall or Windows firewall?
