Looks like I spoke too soon. It appears through Google Play Services, there is a face tracking capability that can detect smiles. I found this for sample code as well: https://github.com/googlesamples/android...aceTracker

So turning pages by moving your head left or right or by smiling could be an option.

Sounds good - do you see a chance to implement it in the nearer future?? Would be great for me and all of my colleagues, who play the organ. Also for me as accompagnist for singers - often my left foot is busy with the left piano pedal and so I can't turn pages
