Unfortunately, there is no Spotify interface for Windows applications. They are working on a web playback SDK (https://developer.spotify.com/documentat...yback-sdk/) but it's currently in beta, and you have to obtain prior approval to use it in a commercial application. It will be tricky to use it in MobileSheets though, as I will have to find a way to embed web browser like functionality in the middle of the application to play back the track.

So it's possible in the next update, you could link to the spotify track that way and it would all work. The main problem would be that you wouldn't be able to control the playback in MobileSheets itself. Spotify does have an Android API for playing back tracks, but that doesn't really help you on your Surface Pro.
There is also no interface to iTunes (which is not surprising as I don't know why Apple would want Windows or Android devices to communicate with iTunes). So I don't really think that's an option.
