I can help you switch to an earlier version if you want to use the version I sell through FastSpring. If so, send me an email at mike@zubersoft.com and I'll provide instructions. I'm updating my PC to 1903 right now to see if that has anything to do with the black screen you are seeing. At the moment, I don't know how to reproduce that problem.
