If you go to Settings->Library Settings and enable "Automatically Load Last Used Filters at Startup", then you can ensure that filter is persisted on every load. If you want that filter to be loaded regardless of what filters were present before the application was closed, there isn't a setting like that available at the moment, so it would need to be added.
