Now that Google is modifying the BACK, HOME and Task View buttons to something guaranteed to be more frustrating, elusive and subject to finger errors in the middle of a performance, I would like to suggest the following:
On each subpage ensure there is a BACK arrow/button, close, save or something to ensure the navigational intent of user is enforced. Currently some subpages have this and some do not. Our current Android OS tablets have been easy to navigate since the back arrow is always on the bottom of the screen. But these are older OSes and starting with late 9.xx and OS-Q (10) this all changes on some brand of devices.
Our Windows PCs present a little bit of a challenge trying to get the back arrow capability to show up even when telling the OS to use tablet mode and telling OS settings to leave the taskbar up. MS writes over the task bar. During a performance we must try to get the top or bottom of the screen to serve up the bar, for a navigation button on it, while not triggering a song, set list or other item to pop up.
Just food for thought.
