That is correct - it will match just on the custom sort title value as shown in the song editor. There is no option to match on formatted song titles at the moment. I can certainly look into adding support for that though if you would like. I can just add a checkbox to control that behavior in the settings below the dropdown that lets you pick which field to match on.
