Looks like there is a trick to it. If I insert your image as:

You can see that it works. I'll have to see what is required for Dropbox. To summarize, for Google Drive files, you need to start it with https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id= and place the ID directly after. So your original link was:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PPTMpPQ...sp=sharing

but you need to change it to

https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1PPTMpPQv8xk79JnLhb_Ahzm2-6d5x56H
