Yes, it would. I think the narrowest portion of the Hannspree is 10.70 inches.
I guess I was misled by the clasps holding what I thought was an ipad the long way (because I am pretty sure the longest "length" of an i-pad is smaller than the narrowest "width" of the Hannspree).
But, I think the picture was it holding a 7 inch tablet (or an iphone).
So, thanks, yes you are right. I don't think this would work with the Hanspree.
But I think its just a matter of time before tablet holders are developed/sold that can easily handle the Hannspree and other similar (13.3) tablets in portrait mode.
If this holder were engineered sliight different, it would work fine.
Too bad . . .

Introducing the AirTurn Manos Mount. It has two arms that can hold anything from a smartphone to a 13 inch diagonal screen tablet, and a set of thumbs and fingers at the end of each arm that can grip tablets as wide as an tablet in an Otterbox or a Griffin Survivor. Note: The narrowest dimension of your tablet cannot exceed 8.25".
The 8.25" will be the limiting factor on a large tablet. Would this preclude the Hannspree 13?
