I agree that syncing (just one) collection would be of great value. Like the O.P. I have multiple collections, each one dedicated to a specific band/group/orchestra. I'd love to be able to sync a collection with the other performers for whom it is relevant. The alternative (what I currently do) is to use sync just for myself. For others I create a new setlist, add all songs in the relevant collection, export the setlist and send it to the other performers. Clumsy and somewhat error prone.
If instead I could give them read access to my cloud database and tell them to just sync their specific collection... perfect!
This would also solve another problem that I have with sync... if you have more than one or two thousand songs and you sync it is hard to see what actually changed. That is because the changes are mixed in with 2000 "Comparing..." messages. If you could sync just one collection this problem would be reduced. I still think that you should be able to turn off the "Comparing" message. I asked for this feature a couple of years ago but it is still not there.
