Man, sorry for this late reply. I was kind of busy and then it slipped my mind. Apparently for years .
The issue, which persists on both of my installations, both of which are based on the same backup (from Android), is NOT that long tap for numbers doesn't work. And I'm also not complaining about having to long tap on the second letter.
My problem is, that the long tap works on the wrong data set.
I probably explained that incorrectly.
Let's say i have a list of collections:
Collection1
Collection2
Zap
Let's say I navigate into Collection1. There is:
100
101
Bar
Fu
What happens in MY library is, that if I longtap # or B or F, nothing happens.
BUT if I longtap C, it will offer to expand o next. If I longtap Z it offers a next.
I.e. the longtap is looking in the wrong data list, collections instead of songs inside collection.
Just to make sure, I installed the app on my desktop, since I started suspecting my library.
Right click works fine, even after restoring my library.
So I went back to my Surface, restored the backup and, since I was using the keyboard anyway, used right click.
Which worked fine and gave me a nice selection of numbers.
Then I tested longtap, in the hopes it magically fixed itself.
Nope. No reaction on numbers, but when I hold on A, it gives me the next letter for my Collection that starts with A.
I just notices, I had already written most of that below (or rather above), but maybe the additional example helps.
Cheers,
Fela
