Does MS add any metadata to mp3 files?

I just added an mp3 file to a song, played the audio file, then compared the original audio file to the one in the storage location. Both files match exactly. So MobileSheets is not modifying mp3 files on Windows. If there is any other test you want me to run, let me know.
