The schedule massively slipped as some efforts took longer than expected, and some work was completed such as switching out the rendering framework on Windows which took a number of months to implement and get stable. The current roadmap will introduce the automatic synchronization option after the song versioning version is added with version 3.10.0. So the automatic synchronization would be in version 3.11.0.
