It is possible to place them and not have them flip, but there has to be nearly no horizontal movement against the direction of the crescendo/descrendo. I'll have to adjust some of the code to create a deadzone so that the symbol doesn't flip unexpectedly.

Thanks Mike, that'd be great.  I suppose I could use a stamp which I just found in the library but having the current tool already in the toolbar it's easier.
