Companion - change libraries
#1
Hi Mike,
As a user who finds having multiple libraries very helpful, it occurs to me that the companion could have more utility for me if it were able to change libraries.

I.E connect to MS and do some stuff in the current library, then tell MS to use a different library, do some other stuff, tell MS to change library again and do yet more stuff etc..

Also, while the user guide tells me how to use the companion to copy files to the library, it doesn't seem to let me specify which file system folder to place them in.  Not necessary if MS is managing files, but not helpful to me as I choose to manage files myself.  Of course, currently I do this using Windows Explorer but it occurs to me that again, the companion would have more utility for me if this functionality were available.

From other threads I realise I'm something of an outlier in the way I prefer to do things, but it works for me.  I've never been one to be happy about the computer managing stuff invisibly to me and without any ability to control it.  Maybe that's why I could never get into Macs back in the 80's.
The ability to manage files myself is also one of the things that I love about MS.
You're only paranoid if you're wrong  Cool
I'm using an Onyx Boox Tab X, and play low brass: mainly 'Bone and Tuba
