You can leverage the pedal actions to accomplish this, as the pedal actions are nothing more than a keybinding for actions. Go to Settings->Touch & Pedal Settings->Pedal Actions, tap the keys field for pedal 1, tap "Clear", press the spacebar (or any other key you want to map), tap OK, then change the pedal action dropdown to be the action you want to trigger (i.e. start or stop audio). Repeat this for the other pedal actions if you have more keybindings you want to use. I plan to support a dedicated keybindings screen in the future to allow for more mappings.
