asking help for filtering/sorting usage

I'm a little confused - can you not just use the collection dropdown to filter by collection, then use the rating dropdown to filter by rating?

Mike

Mike, thank you for your answer. I repeat what i want to do, trying to be more practical, with an example.

I have all songs, that i can view clicking on song tab, without any filtering. I set some collection, as repertoire for selected people, es: "for german people". I set also some other collection, for "performance moment" usage, es: "entertainment" (this way includes songs useful as entertainment, but in general). Grouping songs with some criteria using collection, that's it.

Now i want to select "for german people", AND "entertainment". So i open the collection "for german people", and filter with "entertainment" collection. OK, possible. Now i want to order the songs obtained by rating (stars). The reason for that? Mind, in a performance, works in this way. I need to search the most important songs, for this people, for this moment of the performance, and choose inside this subset of songs.

But i can't do this, because this more advanced sorting works only for song tab view (isn't it, i'm wrong?).
Sorry for my not so clear explain, i know that's a particular request, but it is to me very useful, I would dare say, indispensable.

In song view, it is possible to filter clicking "for german people" and "entertainment" collection.
But this give a list of song with "OR" criteria, including songs in both collections. While i need "AND" criteria. I need songs "for german people" that have an "entertainment" usage. With "AND" criteria, after that, i could easily sort by rating or also criteria as i would.
